I'm new to Chaos Space Marines, and I'm fairly new to the game.  I've got a Tau army but I never really got into the game that much.  So here is a list that I built to test:

1200 points (1155)
Karn the Betrayer
9 Khorne Berzerkers and Skull Champion With Rhino( w/ TL Bolter)

5 Terminator Champions with Twin Lightning Claws in a Daemon Posessed Land Raider.

ALOT of assult, very little shooting.

My Chaos Army is continuing to grow, but the amount of paint is not.  The stuff that I have ebay'd are the only ones that are even fully assembeled.  I have managed to magnetize enough of the Khorne Berzerkers to give myself option on weapons, and based about half of them, next comes full assembly, priming then painting.

First real game with Chaos was horrible.

I dont know what was in his list but I know there was a Storm Raven, and alot of Terminators.

Capture and Control, Dawn of War.

Chaos Deploys first:
HQ, 1000 suns, and Zerkers deploy Center field

BA:
Deployed behind a fortification

Turn 1:
Chaos:
Move all deployed units, Bikers turbo boost 24" from table edge, 2nd squad of 1000suns advance 6".
Run all units.

BA:
Move, SR comes in from Table edge.
Lots of shooting into Zerkers and 1000suns, a few casualties.
Assult Killed 9 1000suns, and 9 Zerkers.

Turn 2:
2nd Squad secures objective, bikes move to flank.
Locked in assult, results: 1000 suns Sorc dies, Zerkers Dead, HQ Assults and is killed.
Chaos ceded the victory to BA.

Ebay berzerkers

Well the first of three things I ordered came in yesterday. Heres what they look like.

I was actually surprised with how well they are painted.  Just a few touchups(that do not include brake fluid) and they will be joining my yet to be assembeled berzerkers.

The Army is expanding already.  I have picked up the following items from ebay.

3 Chaos Warbikes - Primed, unpainted. < $20 (42% discount from retail)
11 Khorne Berserkers - Mostly Painter, a few parts missing(Easily replaced). < $20 (48% discount from retail)
20 Chaos Space Marines - Unprimed. < $25  (31% discount from retail)

All prices and discount percentages include the shipping cost.  I think its been a good deal so far.

In the beginning.

So it came in yesterday.  My H&S Evolution Silverlin 2-in-1.  I havent had a chance to test it out yet because there were some issues with the hose conneting to my compressor.  This will hopefully be fixed today.  Well since the AB is in, I guess I need to start taking more time to assemble my models.  This blog is going to be a chronicle of my progressing(i hope) ability with an airbrush as well as a documentation of my newly started Chaos Space Marines army for Warhammer 40000.  I have a good number of models to test the AB on, somewhere around 2000 points of (mostly) primed, unpainted Tau.

My Chaos Marines Start:
Chaos Space Marine Battle force.
Chaos Lord.

Thats all I've got for now, once they are all assembeled I'm going to be looking to get some more, just havent decided on what yet.
